Join Us in Our Mission To Solve Cancer

Velocity began in 2017 as a cycling event with a simple mission: help Columbia solve cancer by supporting research and patient care at Columbia’s Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. Today, Velocity’s mission has remained the same while its community—and its impact–has grown bigger. Over three thousand people have joined the Velocity community so far, raising over $6 million to bring us closer to the end of cancer. 100% of funds raised by Velocity support expert patient care and cutting-edge research at Columbia’s Cancer Center. Learn More About Velocity’s Impact.

Our mission and our legacy continue each year. Join us! The Further You Go, The Closer We Get.

Velocity Fellows

Money raised by the Velocity community will be presented as grants to up to five researchers selected as Velocity Fellows, who will use these crucial funds to conduct cancer research at all stages.
