The members of the program come from two clinical departments and one public health department.
- Tobacco Control — reducing the use and ill effects of tobacco, at both the community and individual level
- Chemoprevention/Carcinogenesis — studying the earliest events that lead to cancer—or prevent it
- Health Disparities in the Medically Underserved — understanding and reducing disparities in outcomes based on age, race, income, and other factors
- Survivorship/Health Outcomes — studying the quality of care and long-term toxicity of cancer treatment and the impact of cancer on cancer survivors
