Vaginal Cancer: Symptoms

There are no specific early signs or symptoms for vaginal cancer.  If you experience any of the following, it is important to discuss any unusual symptoms with your doctor.

  • Bleeding not related to your menstrual period, or after sexual intercourse
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
  • Pain in the pelvic area
  • Pain or bleeding when urinating or having bowel movements
  • Lump in the vagina
  • Fluid coming out of vagina that is watery or bad smelling
