Research Statement: 

DNA damage response and DNA repair, specifically DNA replication stress response and homologous recombination (HR) repair; Tandem affinity purification (TAP) for studying protein-protein interactions; CRISPR/cas9 mediated genome editing in mammalian cells including gene knock-out, knock-in, genomic deletion and translocation.

My goal is to leverage my expertise in the field of DNA damage repair for translation into the realm of cancer biology and therapeutics. My main interest is to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms that result in genomic instability and tumorigenesis.
